Massage Therapy in BATTERSEA ON

COVID-19 : NEW POLICIES

Your health and safety is our number one priority. Your massage appointments may feel a bit "odd" or "different" now due to COVID-19, however the same care and attention will be taken during your treatments as always.

We are doing our best to make sure our environment at Back to Health is a safe one, but of course due to the nature of COVID-19, there will always be some level of risk because physical distancing is impossible during your massage treatment. Please be aware that we have made these new changes in accordance with the Ministry of Health of Ontario (MOH) and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Please take some extra time to carefully read through our new policies below, and if you have any health, safety or comfort concerns, feel free to reach out to us.

1a) Please complete the Covid-19 pre-screening form BEFORE your appointment. It will be emailed to you a day or 2 before your appt. and can be signed online. If you have any symptoms or are simply feeling sick in any way, please call to reschedule your appointment. 24 hour notice is greatly appreciated, however if not possible due to these reasons, the cancellation fee will be waived.

b) I will also need to ask you the same pre-screening questions when you arrive at the clinic.

2. Please DO NOT arrive early to your appointment. If you do, please stay in your car until your actual appointment time. I will come out and wave you in if I'm ready early.

3. The parking lot will be our new waiting room. Only 1 person will be allowed in the office at a time.

4. You will be asked to immediately sanitize your hands with the approved sanitizer provided, for a minimum of 20 seconds. Specific hand-sanitizing instructions are posted.

5. I will be wearing a mask for your safety.

6a. All clients must  wear a MASK at all times. If you have any concerns about this, for example, health conditions or respiratory issues, please reach out to me, we will make it work.

b) Please wear your own clean mask, if you don't have one, there will be some available for $2 each in the office. You can drop your toonie in the jar for payment.

7.If possible, please shower just before your appointment and wear clean clothing.

8. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer before leaving the treatment room as well.

9. Physical distancing during treatment is impossible, however staying 6 feet apart in common areas is required.

10. We have always prioritized a clean, safe and secure space and continue to keep our office space sanitized and ready for you at all times. We will prioritize helping you, while keeping you safe and secure.

11. More of your appointment time will be taken up now due to these new protocols, however your appointment will still end at its scheduled time to keep us on track.

12.Appointment reminders, receipts and bookings will all be online now, so please make sure I have your correct email address (I may need to adjust your requested booking time to accommodate my new protocols). If you still prefer to text or email me for your appointment, I'm more than happy to continue that for you.

13. I'm required to pre-screen myself before every client as well (for your safety) so if I'm feeling symptoms/sick in any way, I will need to reschedule your appointment from my end.

Thank you for your cooperation!
